Local Businesses Support Sullivan County Public Health Messages

(Liberty, NY - 4:45 PM) – The Sullivan County Public Health Department has teamed up with two of our local cab companies in order to spread health messages to our residents. “It is critically important to improve the public health of the citizenry of Sullivan County, and the County is grateful that local cab companies are assisting in the public education process on adapting to healthier lifestyles,” said Cindy Kurpil Gieger, Chairman of the Health & Family Services Committee.

The attached photographs for publication are: (1) Allan Kesten owner of Yellow Cab shows Carol Ryan(Director of Public Health) the new “Eat Healthy Move More” stickers he placed( free of charge) inside all of his Yellow cabs; and (2) Gary Putter (owner) shows the new ads on Sureway Taxis. Public health is very appreciative at the reduced costs to advertise important anti-tobacco messages such as this one. “ Smoking? Table for One……….”.
