(Ferndale) – County Manager David Fanslau has announced that the Legislature has authorized modifying the hours at the Ferndale Transfer Station to accommodate the County’s residents.

“The Sullivan County Legislature, in response to requests from the public for week day access at the Ferndale Transfer Station, announce that the Ferndale Transfer Station will now be open to all residents on Wednesdays, effective February 24th, in addition to Saturdays and Sundays. The hours of operation are 7:45AM-2:45PM.  Scales close at 2:30PM., ” said Fanslau.

The previously announced hours of operations for commercial and municipal haulers at the Ferndale Transfer Station remain unchanged.
