As we move into April we still need to stay prepared for what Mother Nature will bring us. With the snow still here and some rain forecasted the snow will begin to melt. We need to be concerned for possible flooding with our rivers and streams, remember please use caution while working around standing and moving water, and be sure to use your personal floatation devices (Life Jackets).Another concern for us would be wildland fires. Please make sure you are prepared with your members wearing the appropriate attire for fighting these fires.
BURN BAN - Reminder, the Burn Ban is in effect from March 16 to May 14, no open burning during this time.
I want to thank all the fire departments for submitting their fire reports. Those who are having trouble please work with BC-3 Jack Halchak on fixing the problems, we lack two departments to be at 100% good job everyone. Please contact BC-3 if you have any questions.
Training courses for spring and summer have been finalized and are being advertised and posted on the web site. Attendance is still going well.
Elections will be happening for some Departments this month, please if you have a change in officer’s contact your BC’s with all updates so we can update our records. These updates are important so no information is lost. Thank you, Be Safe
