The mission of the Child Support Enforcement Unit (CSEU) is to establish paternity for children born out of wedlock, to locate and investigate non-custodial parents to establish support obligations, to obtain Third Party Health Insurance for dependent children and to enforce, collect and disburse court-ordered support payments for each case where an appropriate application has been completed and accepted.Â
The unit provides equal services for all Temporary Assistance, Medicaid, Title IV-E, Child Welfare foster care and private child support cases alike; pursuant to guidelines established by the federal, state and local governments.
