Protective Services for Adults (PSA) - The PSA staff is responsible to investigate all reports of abuse, exploitation and neglect of adults who are considered unable to provide for their own safety and well-being. This includes the responsibility for identifying and assisting individuals who are unable to function independently; adults with mental and/or physical illness or disabilities who do not have someone willing or able to help meet their needs. Caseworkers process Medical Recommendations for Personal Care Services, that have been submitted by a licensed physician and arrange for the approved services.
