Health education promotes choices
that improve health and prevent disease, disability and premature death. The purpose of health education is to
positively influence the health behavior of individuals and communities as well as the living and working conditions
that influence their health.

Offers community presentations on health related topics
Improves community awareness of public health issues by providing health
education and information programs to SullivanCounty residents.
Supports public health programs
through public outreach and education, media coverage, and education of health and human services providers.

- Childhood lead prevention
- Childhood obesity prevention
- Community Wellness Initiatives
- General nutrition information
- Injury prevention
- Lyme disease prevention

- Smoking Cessation (including free nicotine replacement patches and gum)
- Help Someone Stop Smoking Today
