The Members of the fire investigation team are appointed by the County Fire Coordinator and can be
called out by a request from a fire chief or fire officer in charge through the E-911 Center.

Investigators are responsible to aid, advise, gather data, preserve evidence, and help the fire chief determine a fire's cause.
