MEDICAID MANAGED CARE offers an alternative to Medicaid and is designed to improve access to quality medical services in a more cost effective manner.  HMO plans are available to Medicaid eligible recipients.Â

Beginning April 15, 2007 New York State  mandated that most all Medicaid recipiants be enrolled in a managed care plan.     Beginning October 2008, all receipants will be enrolled in a Managed Care plan.    Currently, these programs  are avaiable in Sullivan County.
