The County of Sullivan is seeking an Administrator for the County’s Adult Care Center, a 146 bed Skilled Nursing Facility and a 30 bed Medical Model Adult Day Care, located in the Catskill Mountains in Liberty, New York. This is an administrative position involving responsibility for planning, organizing, directing, managing the operation and implementing the policies of a nursing home.

Minimum qualifications: Graduation from a regionally accredited or NYS registered college or university with a bachelor’s degree or higher and successful completion of a prescribed course of study and qualifying field experience as required by the NYSDOH Part 96 of the NYSCRR and three (3) years of full time or its part-time equivalent experience as an Administrator or Deputy Administrator of a nursing Home and must possess current NYS licensure and registration as a Nursing Home Administrator. Must become a qualified elector of Sullivan County within 6 months of appointment and remain so throughout the term of employment. Appointment is subject to Civil Service Examination.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, a rural New York county located 1 1/2 hours northwest of New York City is seeking an individual to serve as the Executive Secretary to the Commissioner of Management & Budget. This position involves the performance of clerical, secretarial and administrative support tasks for the Commissioner of Management and Budget. Incumbents work in a very confidential relationship with the Commissioner in a position requiring a high degree of accuracy, performance skill and tact. Public Health Nurse - This is a professional nursing position responsible for providing nursing assessment and education to clients in the community, public health clinic setting and in the home setting.  Incumbent assists in providing guidance to Community Health Nurses (Public Health) and Registered Professional Nurses Licensure and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State and a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited or New York State registered four (4) year college or university and two (2) years clinical experience in home care, acute care or a field related to public/community health.

Registered Nurses - are needed to do home care, clinics, maternal child health, and public health programs.  We prefer nurses who are experienced, flexible and highly organized to further our mission of protecting and promoting the health of Sullivan County residents.  You must have a minimum of a registered nurse licensure in New York State, with experience in public health, acute care and/or home care desired.
