FULL TIME LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE

This position involves responsibility for providing professional nursing care for residents in accordance with residents’ plan of care. Incumbents work under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse. Assignments concerning resident care are given with limited leeway allowed for the exercise of independent judgment. Supervision is exercised over the work of Nursing Assistants and clerical staff assigned to a nursing unit.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Either:

Sullivan County Division of Public Works is seeking an ELECTRICIAN.

This position involves responsibility for performing tasks as a journeyman electrician, including performance of skilled and difficult electrical operations and supervising or performing other building maintenance activities. General instructions are received regarding what tasks to perform permitting considerable leeway for planning the details of each job. Immediate supervision is exercised over the work of other building maintenance personnel.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two (2) years of experience as a journeyman electrician which shall have involved supervisory responsibility in building maintenance activities.

PHS – COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSE (PUBLIC HEALTH) Part Time
This is a part time, professional nursing position in the local health unit responsible for providing nursing assessment and education to clients in the home as well as in the clinical setting. Work is performed under the general direction of the Supervising Public Health Nurse and/or Supervising Community Health Nurse and with the guidance of the Public Health Nurse. This position differs from Registered Professional Nurse in the level of duties and responsibilities. The Community Health Nurse is a resource to the Registered Professional Nurse. The position requires independence in the field and substantial specialized judgment and skills. The incumbent is also responsible for education programs and presentations to community groups as assigned. Supervision may be exercised over the work of Licensed Practical Nurses and Home Health Aides.

Minimum Qualifications: Licensure and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State and either: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university; or Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university or one accredited by the New York State Board of Regents to grant degrees with a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in health or the human services field; or Three (3) years clinical experience in home care, a hospital, community based outpatient health care or residential health care setting. Senior Assistant District Attorney (Monticello, New York)

The Sullivan County District Attorney’s Office seeks a qualified and experienced trial attorney to prosecute criminal cases. The office is located in Monticello, New York. District Attorney's Investigator

This is a professional position involving responsibility for planning, implementing, and evaluating a nutrition education program for participants in a County public health program for pregnant, postpartum and breast-feeding women and parents or caretakers of infants and children (WIC Program).

Minimum qualifications: Either:

(a)Possession of a license or certification to practice as a Registered Dietitian; Or
(b)Possession of a Master’s Degree or PhD from a regionally accredited college or university in nutrition or public health with a concentration in nutrition; Or
(c)Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited college or university in Nutrition, health-related field or home economics with an emphasis in nutrition with one year of WIC experience.
