As a Division of Special Operations under the Bureau of Fire in Sullivan County the purpose of the Weapons of Mass Destruction/Haz-Mat team is to assist Fire Officers in establishing an efficient command & control procedures and provide technical assistance to fire officers at Haz-Mat incidents when necessary.

 The Weapons of Mass Destruction/Haz-Mat Team is comprised of firefighters from the different fire departments in Sullivan County.
